Subaru, which has the highest score means-testing, on Road (81) is only about half a dozen models, but nearly all do well in road testing of Consumer Reports and have been the pillars of the reliability. The Forester is a small rated SUV, and the legacy, a good performance sedan, has improved with each generation. A single model, the Impreza WRX athlete, a below-average reliability.
Toyota, Lexus and Scion models remain solid overall choice. Reliability remains better than average, with a score of steadfast average test of 74 for all vehicles tested. Score test average of GM for all tested models has improved to 67 from 65 last year. But the company fields still a few dull cars, including some Chevrolet Impala sedan and the collection of Colorado. The lower reliability than the average of the Cadillac and GMC models also drag down its overall score. Reliability is improved on average overall, but it is still not stellar for many models. Currently, consumer reports recommends that 46 percent of the GM models, he put to the test.
